Garlic Prawns with Tomatoes and Olives from the Oven

You'll get a fragrant Mediterranean dish here, where juicy prawns roast in the oven with garlic, tomatoes and olives. Serve it with crusty ciabatta, which soaks up the juices wonderfully. Enjoy it, my love!

Ingredients

  • 400 g Prawns, raw, peeled
  • 250 g Cherry tomatoes
  • 60 g green olives, pitted
  • 4 Stück Garlic cloves
  • 3 EL Olive oil
  • 1 TL Sweet paprika powder
  • 1 Bund Parsley
  • 1 Stück Lemon, juice
  • 1 Stück Ciabatta
  • Salt
  • Black pepper, freshly ground

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees conventional heat so it is nice and hot when you get started.
  2. Peel the garlic and slice it thinly.
  3. Halve the cherry tomatoes and roughly chop the olives.
  4. Put the prawns in a bowl, season them with salt, pepper and the paprika powder, and toss them with 2 tbsp olive oil.
  5. Spread the prawns together with the tomatoes, olives and garlic in an ovenproof dish and pour the remaining oil over them.
  6. Slide the dish into the oven for about 12 minutes, until the prawns are pink and cooked through.
  7. Slice the ciabatta and place the slices next to the prawns for the last 5 minutes so they turn golden brown.
  8. Finely chop the parsley, squeeze the lemon juice, and sprinkle both over the prawns before serving everything.
