Ingredients

  • 2 Stück Bratwurst
  • 500 g Potatoes
  • 3 EL Cooking oil
  • 3 EL Tomato paste
  • 100 ml Water
  • 1 EL Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 TL Sugar
  • 1 TL Curry powder
  • 1 TL Sweet paprika powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Method

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into thick sticks. Toss them in a bowl with 1 tbsp cooking oil and a pinch of salt.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C. Cook the potato sticks in it for about 15 to 18 minutes, shaking vigorously once, until golden brown and crispy.
  3. For the sauce, stir together tomato paste, water, apple cider vinegar, sugar, curry powder and paprika powder in a small saucepan. Simmer over medium heat for about 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Fry the bratwursts in a pan with 1 tbsp cooking oil over medium heat for 10 to 12 minutes, turning them until browned all over and cooked through.
  5. Slice the sausages, pour the warm curry sauce over them and serve together with the fries.
