Colorful Turkey and Vegetable Wraps for the Lunch Box

Ingredients

  • 8 Stück whole grain tortillas
  • 400 g turkey breast fillet
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 1 Stück cucumber
  • 1 Stück red bell pepper
  • 2 Stück carrots
  • 80 g leaf lettuce
  • 1 Bund chives
  • 1 TL sweet paprika powder
  • 1 EL cooking oil
  • salt

Method

  1. Pat the turkey breast dry, cut it into thin strips and season with salt and sweet paprika powder.
  2. Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the turkey strips over medium heat for about 6 to 8 minutes, turning until golden brown all over and cooked through, then transfer to a plate and let cool.
  3. Wash the cucumber, bell pepper and carrots and cut them into thin strips. Wash the leaf lettuce and spin it dry. Cut the chives into fine rolls.
  4. Stir the cream cheese smooth with the chives and a pinch of salt.
  5. Lay the tortillas out one at a time on the work surface and spread thinly with cream cheese, then arrange lettuce, vegetable strips and turkey strips in the middle.
  6. Fold in the sides and roll the tortillas up tightly, then cut in half and wrap each half individually in cling film so they stay fresh.
