Quick Pizza Dough
By Timo 2 · 3 servings
Ingredients
- 300 g all-purpose wheat flour
- 100 g bread flour
- 230 ml lukewarm water
- 0.25 Stück fresh yeast (cube)
- 2 EL high-quality olive oil
- 1 TL sugar
- 1 TL salt
Method
- Crumble the yeast into the lukewarm water, add the sugar and stir until both have completely dissolved.
- Let the flour, salt and olive oil knead with the yeast water in a stand mixer for 10 to 15 minutes, or work everything by hand.
- Let the dough rise covered for at least 45 minutes, preferably 1.5 hours or longer, until its volume has doubled.
- Divide the dough into 3 to 4 equally sized balls and let them rest covered in a warm place for another 30 minutes.
- Using floured hands, carefully lift one dough ball without kneading it again, and place it on a generously floured surface.
- Press the dough flat from the inside outward with the heels of your hands, repeatedly flouring and turning it, until you have a round disc whose outer edge is slightly thicker so it becomes nice and fluffy when baked.
